Once your business has decided to proceed with a HARPS audit, you’ll need to decide which Certification Body (CB) will conduct the audit. Rules are in place for HARPS regarding which CB can audit your business. The rules differ depending on whether your business is a Tier 1 or 2 supplier to the major retailers. If your business is currently audited against a GFSI standard, you’re likely to have already made a selection; you may choose to extend the audit scope to include HARPS. Please refer to Appendix 2: HARPS Approved Certification Bodies (for Tier 1 and 2 Suppliers) and Contact Details to identify which approved Certification Bodies your business can work with.
Current or Previously Approved HARPS Suppliers
If your business is currently approved or has been previously approved by HARPS, and you are looking to transfer from your current (or previous) Certification Body to another, click on the “Existing HARPS Supplier” button below and complete the Certification Body Request Form. Suppliers that are new to HARPS
If your business is new to HARPS you are required to nominate a Certification Body to conduct your HARPS audit. This can be conducted in conjunction with your chosen GFSI scheme audit. To identify which of the HARPS-approved Certification Bodies you would like to work with, click on the “HARPS Approved Certification Bodies” button below. This document details the approved Certification Bodies for HARPS, who you can choose from as a Tier 1 or Tier 2 business and the CB’s contact details. Once you have made your selection, click on the “New HARPS Supplier” button and complete the “Certification Body Request Form”.
What happens once I have submitted the Certification Body Request form?
Once we receive your Certification Body Request Form, the details will be provided to your nominated Certification Body. This information will also be used by HARPS to identify if a supplier card already exists within the HARPS database for your business. The primary contact you nominate will be directly contacted by your nominated Certification Body.
What happens to the information you supply on this Request form?
Once the information is passed on to your nominated Certification Body and the HARPS database is checked to determine whether your company details exist, this information is then permanently deleted from our system.
